Web Summit – November 2025

I moderated two panels at Web Summit in Lisbon – one on the data dilemma in healthcare, and the second on connection in the digital age at a WIRED fringe event.

WIRED Health – March 2025

I hosted the startup showcase at WIRED Health, introducing startups and liaising with a panel of judges to select and announce the winning startup.

SXSW London – June 2025

I hosted the main stage at the inaugural SXSW London, introducing a range of high-profile speakers including an F1 Team Principal, the CEO of Monzo, and Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia.

DLD Circular – September 6, 2023

This event explored the vision of a circular economy to find out how the latest technological advances can foster innovative business concepts and societal transformation – shaping a sustainable world.

Slush Festival – December 1, 2021

Slush is an annual conference for startups in Helsinki. I hosted a panel on quantum computing with Dr Ling Ge, general manager and chief European representative at Tencent.

WIRED Pulse: Quantum – May 7, 2021

I curated and hosted this virtual event on quantum computing, with guests from some of the leading startups in the space, including Riverlane, Strangeworks and Oxford Quantum Circuits.

WIRED Smarter – October 6, 2020

I hosted episode 6 of WIRED Smarter, a virtual conference with a unique television-style broadcast from King’s Place. Guests included Cherie Blair, Georg Petschnigg of WeTransfer and Avinash Rugoobur of Arrival.

CYBERSEC European Security Forum – September 29, 2020

I hosted a panel discussion on ‘International Security in the era of Quantum Computing’ at this virtual security conference.
